Access to eBook and eAudiobooks is about to get even better. The San Joaquin Valley Library System was awarded a $50,000 LSTA grant from the California State Library to purchase titles for the statewide Palace Project collection. SJVLS is providing a $10,000 match from our Online Materials budget, for a grand total of $60,000 to spend on eBooks and eAudiobooks.
The San Joaquin Valley Library System is pleased to announce our member libraries have joined the eBooks for All California initiative, a free, shared statewide collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks created in partnership between the California State Library and the Black Gold Cooperative Library System. SJVLS patrons can access the shared collection plus their local library’s eBook and eAudiobook collections from a single app – The Palace Project App.
