- Intro to the Internet computer class
- This is a beginning computer class. Learn how to find information on the World Wide Web. It will be Friday, September 26, 2008 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Tulare Public Library, 113 North F Street. Call 685-8146 to reserve your seat. Intro to the internet flyer
- Tutor Training
- Help an adult with his or her reading. Volunteer to be a Tulare READ Literacy Tutor. This 3-hour training will be the beginning of a life-changing experience for both you and your learner. The program is free, and the hours are flexible. Call the Literacy Office to arrange a date and time. 685-8146
- Yard Sale Fundraiser
- Shop on the Library lawn on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. Bargains Galore! Hundreds of items! Have fun shopping for treasures while supporting a very worthy cause—adult literacy. We are accepting donations beginning Sept. 22nd. - Join us on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 6:30 for our Antique Appraisal event. Bring one of your old treasures to learn about its history and approximate value.
