Audio Visual Media
Customers with a valid San Joaquin Valley Library System Card may check out any of our audio visual media in addition to books. Please note that the Tulare Public Library does not provide the hardware to play the following audio visual media.
The Tulare Public Library has a collection of over 3,000 Cds that are divided into the following categories: Rock & Pop, Country, Latin, Jazz, Children, Rhythm & Blues, World, Gospel, Classical and New Age. Customers may check out up to 3 CDs at one time as ling as no fines are on their card. To avoid any potential damage to our CDs, we ask that our CDs be returned inside the library.
DVDs as well as VHS movies are also available at the Tulare County library. Both movie formats may be checked out for one week. Thereafter, renewals are for 3 days. DVDs and VHS are limited to 3 per card. Rated "R" movies are restricted for check out to those 17 years or older or to a minor accompanied by an adult. Please return these items inside the library.
The Tulare Public Library offers a great selection of Books on Cassette and Books on CD. You may check out 6 Books on Cassette/CD for 3 weeks at a time. All customers are asked to return these inside as well.
