SJVLS joins the Central Valley library community in mourning the loss of the Porterville City Library in a devastating fire on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 18th. The Porterville library is a longtime member of SJVLS and we look forward to working with them to rebuild services to the Porterville community.

As a result of the rapidly changing situation surrounding the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, MOST SJVLS LIBRARIES remain closed to the public. However, some library locations have started to offer limited services. General summary information is provided below. For more information, please contact your local library. This list will be updated as we receive information from the individual libraries.
The next meeting of the Electronic Resources Committee will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Visalia Branch Library.
The Administrative Council will meet on March 13, 2020 at 10AM at the Fresno Central Library, 2420 Mariposa St, Fresno CA 93721. The agenda will be posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
The next meeting of the Automation Committee will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22nd. The meeting will be held via Skype. Participating locations will be posted with the Agenda 72 hours prior to the meeting.
