Strategic Goal #3:
To facilitate services to underserved library users
Objective #1: Provide access to the library catalog languages other than English.
- Project 3.1.1. Identify key languages in the SJVLS service area and configure WebPAC servers in those languages.
Objective #2: Develop services for remote patrons that utilize current information technology.
- Project 3.2.1. Explore ways to provide remote delivery of audio-visual formats to patrons with hearing or site impairments.
- Project 3.2.2. Develop an online library card application process.
- Project 3.2.3. Explore ways to use chat and other real-time communication technologies as a supplement to telephone and e-mail reference.
